Denmark Farm

Saw a picture on the news a week ago of a Tawny Owl cooling off in a small garden pond or similar. A light piece after the serious stuff. Seemed kind of amusing. But sadly today at DF an adult Barn Owl was found dead in one of the cattle troughs. Presumed drowned. I wonder what the effect of this extreme weather will be on our breeding birds? Not too good for many of them I fear.
