High tide at Ynys-hir

To the Ynys Feurig hide, where a Greenshank dropped in noisily for a short visit, followed by 29 Curlews then an unseasonal Barnacle Goose. Nine Bar-tailed Godwits flew downriver. The only other waders were single Redshank and Whimbrel.  Two Peregrines flew up the estuary.
Later, from the Marian Mawr hide the King Eider was still present and two Green Sandpipers were on the saltings.
