Spent a very enjoyable hour there this morning.
Highlights on the flood in front of the hide 340 teal, 11
shoveler, 5 black tailed godwits, 1 spotted redshank, 75 dunlin On the estuary
side 200 dunlin, 1 bar-tailed godwit, 3 red breasted merganser, 2 great crested
grebes.
On the grazing marsh 600+ golden plover, c 1000 lapwing and
150 curlew. Everything put up by an amazing flight display by a very playful
peregrine. It caused mayhem!
