Ynys Feurig - Ynys-hir

Very pleasant hour spent in the hide this morning. Highlight was a superb flock of 7 black-tailed godwits right below the hide. Other birds on the main flooded  area included 4 redshank and 6 lapwing (all displaying), 112 teal, 2 pintail, 60 wigeon, 2 little egrets. There were no other birds of note on the rest of the grazing marsh apart from a few Canada geese. The main action on the estuary was an inland  movement of 44 herring gulls , and  55 curlew.  There were approx 50 teal on the pool by Ynys Edwin.
