Ynyslas vismig - 1000 Mipits
A great mornings watch at the point this morning with 1072 Meadow Pipits flying north by 12 midday (360+ within the first hour after dawn). Also flying north were 107 Goldfinches, 83 alba Wagtails, 2 Grey Wagtails, 117 LBBGs, 8 Red Kites, 16 Sand Martins, a Sparrowhawk and 3 Greylag Geese. 10 Ravens flew south. Finally managed to get my first Wheatear of the year at the point also, as well as two Knot, a Bar-tailed Godwit and c.15 Ringed Plovers.
