Having got back from holiday earlier today I've just seen the post from
Edward O'Connor about the black kite with jesses over Borth Bog and at
Portland.
While socialising in Borth on Easter Sunday (April 21st) I saw what must
have been this bird over the SW. Corner of the Bog. It was a buzzard sized
raptor which I couldn't identify but appeared to be flying with its legs
trailing down. It didn't occur to me that they could have been jesses. I put it
down in my mental notebook as a "don't know" and promptly forgot all about
it!
