Wood sandpiper

A wood sandpiper, found by Dave Anning, was on the Marian Mawr pools at RSPB Ynys-hir this morning. Continuously hassled by redshank it flew off high in the direction of the Ynys Feurig pools. The great egret is still on the pool below the car-park.
