136 Med Gulls along the coast between Llanrhystud and Llansanffraid this afternoon. Including Green R9LJ, I'll post the details if they're of any interest. Joining the Meds along the shore were 15 Redshank, 2 Dunlin and a Kittiwake. c.60 Painted Lady's and 5 Small Tortoiseshells were noted between Llanon and Llansanffraid.
At Pendam lakes, there were two broods of Tufted Ducks, a brood of 5 on Blaenmelindwr and a brood of 4 almost fully grown young on Pendam.
A few evenings ago at Ynyslas there were c.200 Oystercatchers, 40 Redshank, a Common Sandpiper, c.500 Starlings (Ynys Tachwedd) and 5 Sandwich Terns.
