Castle Point

Sunny and very warm this morning with just a light breeze.  A continuous passage of gulls, many distant but at least 150  Kittiwakes involved, plus Black-headed, Herring and  12 Lesser Black-backs.
Unlike the gulls, ca20 Manx Shearwaters were all heading north.  Only a few Gannets around.  On and around College Rocks were about 60 Med Gulls and 12 Sandwich Terns.
Tide well out so I could only find two Turnstones and a Redshank.
39 Canada Geese flew in from the north, just cleared the point and landed very close inshore near the harbour entrance .
