Manx Shearwaters
Having half an hour to kill in Aberystwyth this morning I settled at Castle Point and for the first 20 minutes enjoyed a few Gannets, Manxies and Sandwich Terns passing by, then suddenly I noticed large numbers of Manx Shearwaters heading towards me from the south. Soon they were streaming past the point as close as I've ever seen them. The movement lasted just over four minutes during which time I counted 580 birds.
