I resisted the temptation to head for Ynyslas this morning and went south instead. 22 Ringed Plovers and two Dunlin at Llanrhystud, then just along in Llansantffraed Bay a high count of at least 75 Turnstones, plus 28 Curlews, two Ringed Plovers and two Dunlin.
Highlights were a Grey Plover in the bay then finally from near the church, a flock of ca45 Golden Plovers over the fields, twinkling in the bright sunshine. Both species my first of tthe autumn.
Very little offshore; just the odd Gannet and eight Med Gulls among good numbers of Black-headed.
