Ynyslas again

Excellent numbers of birds off Borth and Ynyslas again this morning. Some 450 gannets, 600 kittiwakes and large numbers of other gulls were feeding off-shore and the presence of about 20 bottle-nosed dolphins means that there are good fish shoals in the bay. Amongst the 60 or so sandwich terns was a juvenile black tern and a few common terns but between 0700 and 0815 no skuas were passing (had to leave for work) but I would not be surprised if a few dropped in to harass the large numbers of kittiwakes that were still increasing in numbers as I left.
