odds and ends

Whilst working today I heard a Sedge Warbler singing in a Leylandii hedge opposite the shop in Brynhoffnant, virtually alongside the coast road. This was about 7.30. Another was singing at the stream in Glynarthen later. On Tuesday, plenty to see and hear in Long Wood, Betws Bledrws. Chiffchaffs/Blackcaps very common, 7 Pied Flycatchers, a couple of Wood Warblers had arrived, 2 pairs of Marsh Tits and a singing Willow Tit. Lots of evidence of deer on one particular muddy track. Also there this morning, Mrs M heard a Cuckoo.
