On an evening dog walk recently I was surprised to come across a single Short-eared Owl hunting. In retrospect I’m guessing this may be the same “Aberystwyth area”
location as Olivia and Rhodri’s sightings.
Still 4 Purple Sandpipers on the wall this evening, and small numbers of
Swallows moving north over the calm sea. Several BN dolphins off South Beach
were also nice to see.
