Bob managed to drag himself away from his Swifts this morning, and like Dave below, we went to Ynyslas. We stuck to the area between the car park and the boatyard, and had a similar mixture of birds, i.e. Whitethroat, two Wheatears, 30 Sandwich Terns and 11 Mediterranean Gulls among large numbers of Black-headed.
There was also a pair of Mute Swans at the Leri mouth. 16 Curlews up the estuary and three Ringed Plovers on the fields.
