Chris rang me an hour ago to say he had just watched at close range from his workshop a prolonged attack by a juvenile female Goshawk on a Carrion Crow. After a number of stoops the hawk seemed to lose interest and the corvid escaped unscathed.
He had also just spoken to Terry Hobson, who was being blown over at Ynyslas Point. Despite the weather, Terry found around 20 Turnstones and 50 Knot, as well as very large numbers of Dunlin and Ringed Plover.
Yesterday afternoon Chris had a Yellow Wagtail, which was found by Andre Morgan, at Llanrhystud.
