Waders in the storm

I couldn't believe my eyes driving through Lluest and down into Comins Coch - a black tailed godwit fighting against the wind just above  the road. I then drove on to Glandyfi. No sign of the yellow legged gull, the main gull flocks had moved up river by the high tide. There were approx 200 black headed and a handful of herring gulls on the main saltmarsh. 12 goosander, a single greenshank, and  2 little egrets.  2 ospreys were sitting out the storm on one of the dead trees above  the RSPB's Domen las hide.
