High tide at Ynyslas yesterday morning, spent at the tern posts, where there were six Sandwich Terns.
Then Sue spotted a good flock of ca250 small waders flying in, mainly Dunlin and Ringed Plover with a handful of Sanderling, a Curlew Sandpiper and two surprise Golden Plover.
Later there were 91 Barnacle Geese grazing on the saltmarsh at Ynys-hir, viewed from the Glandyfi layby.
