This afternoon Chris found 10 Whooper Swans on Llyn Blaenmelindwr, all adults. The birds were very active, bowing to each other and calling loudly, even audible from the car between there and Llyn Pendam. Down on Llyn Syfydrin were a Goldeneye and a female Tufted Duck, perched on a branch above the water.
Lots of Black-headed Gulls coming in to roost included a yellow-ringed bird and there was also a single Mediterranean Gull.
