Ynyslas and Glandyfi

Six Grey Plovers were the pick of a meagre collection of waders and wildfowl at Ynyslas this morning.  Otherwise just three Dunlin, two Curlews, 37 Oystercatchers and a Redshank.  A few Wigeon on the river when I arrived, increasing to ca90 as the rising tide pushed them into view.  Six Shelduck were on the saltings by the Leri.

Not much at Glandyfi apart from Canada Geese and Mallards, with a good count of 105 of the latter.  Two Peregrines were on the riverbank and a Great White Egret on the Meirionydd saltings.
