An enjoyable walk up to the old railway hide was serenaded by the sounds of at least three Whooper Swans that were out on the Teifi. A Great White Egret took off and headed up river. Around the hide were two Marsh Tits, two Water Rails and most surprisingly a calling Cetti's Warbler that was showing on and off in a patch of brambles, amazing how its survived the recent weather. On the walk back an incredibly tame pair of Tawny Owls were in the trees along the track.
