Has anyone else noticed a decline in the numbers of Magpies? Until the beginning of the year they were a nuisance around our cottage just outside Llanddewi Brefi: not only were they hoovering up any food put out but also slowly chipping away at roof ridge tiles. Small groups could also be seen when travelling between home and Lampeter, On our last trip on Thursday 25 February none were seen.
