I'll bet I wasn't the only one out for an expedition today! What a lovely day. I went out hoping to see goshawks but ended up finding a pair of adult peregrines at an inland cliff. Very exciting! I had seen one nearby a few days ago.
I was also overjoyed to hear my first skylark of the year, although it
sounded a bit rusty, also meadow pipit and stonechat
