Chris heard his first Cuckoo at Llyn Eiddwen on Monday. Yesterday at Ynyslas a single Black-tailed Godwit among hundreds of small waders (Dunlin and Ringed Plover, couldn't pick out anything else among them). On Sunday there were two almost fully-grown young Little Grebes on the small pool at Maesllyn Farm, Llangwyryfon.
Sightings reported to Chris by friends include two Dippers on the Rheidol by Morrisons and a calling Cuckoo at Nanteos, both on Sunday.
