Went to Llansantfraed beach this morning following Andre's sighting yesterday of a summer plumage Bar-tailed Godwit. Fortunately I found a pair and one was indeed in full summer plumage. Stunning! Thanks again Andre. Initially the birds were very distant but then decided to fly closer to me where they spent five minutes before flying off north towards Llanrhystud. I later bumped into Andre and also Harry, who had seen them off the Lime Kilns.
