| Tree Pipit |
Had a lovely morning today at Cross Inn Forest. Along with lots of Willow Warblers and Chiffchaffs there were three singing Redstarts, a female Wheatear, several parties of Redpolls (5 in one group) that were very vocal in flight and while feeding high in the conifers, a flyover of 3 Crossbills and a fabulous Tree Pipit singing and parachuting from tree to tree just as I remember from 2 years ago.
