Llanrhystud

The first bird I laid eyes on after arriving to llanrhystud this afternoon was a rather nice winter plumage Black-throated Diver heading north offshore, followed then by a summer plumaged Red-throated heading south. 15 White Wagtails, 3 Wheatears, 6 Whitethroats, a Sedge Warbler, 20+ Whimbrels, 13 Curlews and a Common Sandpiper were seen from a walk between the carpark and the lime kilns.
