Ynyslas etc

I was at the brick-house by 7.30am this morning shivering in a rather cold north-easterly wind with 46 red-throated divers, 140 gannets, 80 manx shearwaters and 25 sandwich terns moving north in 40 minutes. A few razorbills north as well as a single puffin which was rather un-expected.

Later at Cors Caron there was a singing redstart and a coot on Maesllyn pool.

Nothing of note at Cwm Gwarin and Llyn Llygad Rheidiol apart from lots of wheatear and two pairs of Canada geese nesting on the small pools above Fainc Ddu Uchaf.
