It was a glorious sunny morning today at Ynys-hir, sedge and garden warbler, whitethroat and blackcap were in fine song. The estuary was busy on the ebbing tide with at least 40 oystercatchers making a commotion, 20 curlew, lapwing displaying and 3 great white egrets stalking their prey.
