Around Ynyslas

Sights and Sounds from north west Ceredigion-

Literally hundreds of Manx Shearwater and Gannet off the Ynys-Las brick house this morning. A little later a juvenile Peregrine Falcon was being chased by a Carrion Crow over the Dyfi Estuary. I then settled on a number of adult and juvenile Sandwich Terns on a sand bank on the Aberdyfi side when I first heard then saw one fly nearly overhead. Also a large number of Curlew and Oystercatcher feeding further up the estuary. Juvenile Pied Wagtail were everywhere. Finally a single female Goosander on the Leri.
