Glandyfi

A short visit to Aberystwyth prom produced 15 Med Gulls on College Rocks and two Turnstones under the pier.  Next to Borth, just a few Manxies so I continued to the Cletwr.   Not a bird in sight so I decided to carry on to Glandyfi to try to salvage something from the morning.  From the layby  I picked up single Common and Green Sandpiper and three Curlews and on the river a good count of 17 Goosanders which included family parties of seven and five.

An Osprey which was perched on a dead tree near the first bend of the Dyfi later had a fly round, plunging down to the water at one point but not catching anything.
