After leaving my car at the local garage I took a stroll round the Vicarage Lake this morning and found not only the expected Moorhens (two ads and a fully grown young), but a Little Grebe; my first on there after many visits. A Willow Warbler worked along the lakeside trees and on the way back a flock of ca 25 House Martins spent a few minutes over the village before continuing on their way.
