I spent a couple of days down at Mwnt this week and had a few sightings of interest.
Choughs reached a maximum count of 33 this morning. Anyone not familiar
with choughs should get down there! They are so approachable.
There was a flock of house martins around yesterday and this morning -
several dozen I would say. Quite a few wheatears around the church this morning
which were't there yesterday.
There were at least two sand martins showing interest in the soil cliff
above the beach.
A marsh harrier appeared from the Gwbert direction and carried on roughly
eastwards until lost from view. It was a female/immature type and was wearing
one or two red wing tags.
