Went for an early morning walk yesterday (sun) at Mwnt. Nobody about probably due to the amount of rain. Lots of Fulmars heading south close in. Small parties of Common Scoters, a Whimbrel, a Peregrine. On the way back to the car, as I was questioning whether such a walk had been worthwhile after the drenching I had received, the answer yes came in the the form of two very cooperative Choughs hunkered down from the weather.
