After a brief chat with Martin by the Leri, and a look at the Ruff and Greenshank, I headed over to the point. Wheatears everywhere, an Osprey perched up on the other side of the Leri (and a squirrel on the track past the boat yard), 70+ Sandwich Terns on their posts. A good selection of waders at the point, many of them sporting shiny new rings. Highlights: adult and juv Curlew Sand, one Little Stint, and one Knot. Also one Turnstone, 3 sanderling. Three choughs over to the south may have been Martin's returning.
