THAT PINTAIL

It has been busy feeding in Aberystwyth harbour with several Mallard every daytime at low tide, including this morning, since I first noticed it on 2nd. No sign of them at other times and so they could well commute inland a little way to Nanteos lake, where Chris and Simon have seen the Pintail. It was absent during one of Chris' visits there at the same time as I was saw it in the harbour. Both locations are somewhat unusual for Pintail, to say the least.
