An arctic skua south and a juv marsh harrier in off the sea at the brick-house this morning; otherwise very quiet.
At the point (Ynyslas) 280 sandwich terns, a common tern and
small numbers of the commoner waders.
At the Ynys Feurig hide (RSPB Ynys-hir) 5 little stint, 4
green sandpiper, 2 little ringed plovers, a greenshank, a curlew sandpiper and
about a dozen each of dunlin and ringed plover.
Heard what I thought was a calling wryneck twice close to the hide but despite running out and scanning everywhere for 15 minutes I could not find anything…..Some you win and some you lose.
