A pleasant morning on the bog with Paul B. At Pont Einon just a a Moorhen and a Little Grebe with Mallards until a distant Great White Egret flew across. Next to Maesllyn where we found 34 Wigeon, 10 Teal and a Coot, plus 36 Lapwings on the field at the far side of the lake.
Vary few thrushes around apart from a solitary Fieldfare in a tree; just flight views of a few Redwings. Nothing to be seen from the hide until Paul had a flypast of ca30 Teal then to finish the outing as we had started, the Great White Egret perched in a tree near the boardwalk.
