Very little to be seen on a stroll about Tanybwlch yesterday. The exception was a group of Gooosanders fishing on the river. Four redheads and a male. After some pretty rapid torpedo-like swimming up stream, the male caught a sizeable trout. It was that big, it took the bird a minute or so to completely swallow it.
Other sightings included rock pipit, stonechat, turnstone and a large flock of rooks.Dave Thomas
