I visited Llyn Mynydd Gorddu on Sunday afternoon in the gloom and there was a decent selection of wildfowl there, although no whooper swans.
There was a handful of mallard and teal, and 43 wigeon, the most I have seen there. I managed to pick out a male shoveler as well.
A mistle thrush was singing fitfully at Salem as was a great tit.
