More from Ynyslas

Highlights for me from Ynyslas today included a Marsh harrier seen flying over the field next to the Aberleri footbridge which headed off towards the estuary, it was soon followed by a ringtail hen harrier which was quartering the same field the Marsh harrier had just gone over! Others included a greenshank at the mouth of the Leri, 8 golden plovers, 5 knot, 5 pintails, a red-throated diver on the sea and finally towards the end of the day managed to see the 1st winter male eider at the point.

Yesterday afternoon on the flooded fields at Tan-y-bwlch: 2 water pipits, 72 teal and a male wigeon.
