Aberystwyth prom

I went down to the prom this morning with low expectations and several layers, but there was plenty of interest despite the wind. Several Gannets and Kittiwakes offshore when I arrived and a single Swallow heading north. At Castle Point a trickle of  waders, including three Whimbrel, a Sanderling, 12 Dunlin, a Ringed plover (with a companion who seemed to lack a wingbar, last seen heading high over Consti), and two purps. Further offshore lots of terns fishing, mostly Arctic I think,  with at least one Sandwich, and a couple of Razorbills.
