Just back from a quick trip for the high tide. Bumped into Arfon and also some other birders who I had not met before. When I was with Arfon we watched a lot of Wheatears. I counted 26, but realise now that I forgot to ask him if any were Greenland type. Other birds; Whimbrel 13, Sanderling 2, Dunlin 4, Bar-tailed Godwit 1, Shelduck, Kestrel, Gannet 5. I think Arfon said he'd heard a Lesser Whitethroat at the kilns. The number of White Wagtails were low and he set off to Llanon to look for more.
