Among the birds around the mouth of the Leri were a scattering of pintail, four great white egrets, one grey plover, and a very noisy greenshank.
At Aberystwyth later were the five purple sands plus the two black redsarts.
Yesterday there were about 40 red kites roosting at Salem, and a small bat
hunting at dusk. (the second this week)
