Whilst out on a walk this morning I found my way barred by a lively mob of cows who moooed in collective derision at my predicament. Whilst attempting an illegal detour I had the good fortune to flush a Green Sandpiper. It was in an intensively managed pasture, recently sprayed with slurry, but not too far from the Teifi. Earlier, 11 Little Grebes and 3 Coots at Pant Pool and 2 Greenfinches on the edge of Llanddewi Brefi.
