Borth cliffs

A couple of hours at Borth Cliffs this morning didn't produce any cetaceans, but an otter did appear for a while diving amongst the rocks on the falling tide below the memorial.

There was a light passage of swallows and sand martins; a pair of colour ringed chough turned up; and there a good number of scoter spread across the bay as far as the Dyfi Estuary. Gannets and other seabirds were markedly absent.

I agree with Dave about the lack of seabirds off Borth this morning.  All I saw were scoters before heading to the Leri.
