Very quiet yesterday afternoon from the brick house with just two distant red-throated divers visible. Rather different from yesterday when there were 37 red-throats on the sea including one flock of 28 on the water together.
Perhaps birds short stop on migration north and move on quickly..?Different to when I was in California some years ago and had over 40000 pacific divers heading north in four hours from point pelee. Still dreaming of a massive movement north off Ynyslas but so far no luck.
Still going to look though.
