Barn Owl

My final visit of the year to Ynyslas this afternoon and I was hoping that I might see the Hen Harrier that has been frequenting the area. No signs of him at the Aberleri end so I drove along the track towards the car parking area. As I was about half way along the track I caught sight of a Barn Owl which was flying in the same direction and only a few yards away from me. I stopped and scrambled up onto the dunes to see if I could get a better look and saw it for a couple of seconds before it disappeared behind one of the buildings on the caravan park.
