Leri and Eglwys Fach

I paid a rather late afternoon visit to the Leri to look for the Scaup, without success. However, there were 3 Whooper swans at the confluence with the Dyfi together with about 200-250 Wigeon and 3 Gadwall, 1m 2f., looked for the Richard's Pipit at the turn-off car park, several Redwing, Fieldfare and Meadow Pipit but no Richard's in the gloom of a super pink sunset. I will probably try again early tomorrow. In my earlier blog I omitted to report 6 Goldfinches almost continually at the feeders and a Song Thrush
