A walk down to Tanybwlch proved worthwhile yesterday. The highlight being an Osprey that was being hotly pursued by a Herring gull along the Ystwyth towards Aberystwyth, before heading north east past Pen Dinas.
In addition there was 1 reeling Grasshopper warbler, 6 Sedge warbler, 5 Whitethroat, 2 Sand Martin, 2 Goosander, 1 female Sparrowhawk and 1 female Kestrel.
Also, 10 Whimbrel at Aberystwyth on the Old college rocks.
